How to play Letter Link

Start Letter Link by looking at the playing area and its controls. Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Choose a comfortable screen position before beginning. Look at what changes after your first action.

Make words from two letter sets: PLANET and STREAM. Each set uses a selected list of accepted answers.

Make the controls familiar

Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Check the rules when you are unsure.

Step by step

  1. Select letters in order, each tile once per word.
  2. Submit the word.
  3. Clear letters to retry.
  4. Find all displayed word lengths.

Controls

Tap letters and Submit word. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.

A useful example

PLANET makes PLANT, PLANE and PETAL. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Read the matching step again.

Watch out for this

Not every dictionary word is a target in this curated list. Compare the situation with the worked example. Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules.
