How to play Maze Adventure

Take a moment with Maze Adventure before moving to another game. Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Make your first input carefully and watch the result. Look at what changes after your first action.

Notice the feedback

Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Step by step

  1. Start from the upper-left cell.
  2. Move through openings using arrow keys or direction buttons.
  3. You may also tap a neighbouring cell connected by an open passage.
  4. Reach the gold exit or generate a new maze.

Controls

Arrow keys, on-screen direction buttons, or a click/tap on an adjacent reachable cell. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Return to the rules if the result is unexpected.

A useful example

If a wall blocks the cell to your right, try another opening; the token cannot move through walls. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Check the stated objective.

Watch out for this

Only immediately adjacent cells can be reached in one move. Check the rule before repeating the action. When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round.
