How to play Mini Golf

Take a moment with Mini Golf before moving to another game. Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Use the example below to understand a decision. Begin with the solo mode shown on the page. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Three original obstacle courses; wall bounces and friction.

Make the controls familiar

Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Refer to the controls when needed.

Your goal

Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Notice how the game responds to your input.

Step by step

  1. Aim a stopped ball.
  2. Set power and putt.
  3. Wait until it stops before another shot.
  4. Use Next hole after sinking.

Controls

Touch aim, angle/power sliders and Putt. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Return to the rules if the result is unexpected.

A useful example

A soft final putt can sink where a fast crossing would not. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Verify the rule before continuing.

Watch out for this

The hole accepts only a sufficiently slow ball. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention.
